About Me

Hey, I’m Nathan.

I’m a photographer from St. John’s, Newfoundland, drawn to the raw, honest side of life by the coast. My work focuses on emotion and atmosphere, the quiet in between moments that reveal something real about people and places.

I’m not chasing perfect light or polished scenes. I’m after what feels true the chill of an overcast morning, the stillness of a dock after work, the warmth between people in a cold world. My photos are grounded in reality, often shaped by the weather, the texture of the landscape, and the stories that linger in everyday life.

For me, photography isn’t about creating something flawless, it’s about feeling something genuine. Each image is a small act of observation, an attempt to show the beauty in what’s often overlooked: a gesture, a worn surface, a moment of quiet connection.

I aim for work that feels raw, emotional, and honest — photographs that don’t just show a scene, but carry its weight.
